WE MISS YOU, LEE!

Lee Alexander McQueen, 17 March 1969 – 11 February 2010

Time flies!
3 years have already passed since we lost Lee and the fashion world lost one of its most talented designer. No one can deny his talents and how far his creative mind has gone. He was absolutely amazing and always surprised us with his designs. Personally, he was my idol (also the reason why I decided to use "McQueen" in my name). He is my inspiration and I wish someday my career will be as successful as his!
Sarah Burton is doing a great job but what would the company be if Lee was still here. I miss him, and I'm sure you do too!
Let’s take a moment today to remember him!
May he rest in peace and his legend always live through his designs and keep inspiring generations to come.
From your biggest fan, with all my heart… Lee!

Queen A

Kate Moss & Daphne Guinness talked about McQueen on Harper's Bazzar May 2011 "McQueen Forever"
"There's NEVER, EVER going to be anybody like him. His was the most exciting show to see ever, even if you weren't there"

"What was so incredible about him was he could do the simplest thing and the most complicated things. He was a proper genius, and that is a very overused word. If he'd done art, he would have been the best. If he'd done architecture, he would have been the best"

Book: Savage of Beauty/ Blazer: Zara/ Jeans: Gianfranco Ferre/ All Scarfs & Rings: Alexander McQueen.

*** I'm also sad that there won't be any more Alexander McQueen shows for Fall 2013 Fashion Week because Sarah Burton is having a maternity leave as she’s expecting twins.

*I'm Queen A, because I ain't no Queen B! Hand me the crown!
