As I spend more and more time in Hanoi, I got to visit and discover a lot of interesting places. I like the old town the most. It's international and all the fun and fabulousness is definitely hidden behind the cozy walls...
My friend brought me to Manzi one night. I loved it here. What's better than having a drink and enjoying art at the same time. Manzi is housed in an elegant turn of 20th century French villa with a shady yard in a quiet lane. It has an art space among cafe and bar, perfect to spend your time reading and working here as well as seeing and buying art at the Manzi's art shop. Manzi often has exhibition, book launches or live music...
I was there when they are showing "The Desiring Garden" exhibition of Jamie Maxtone- Graham, famous American photographer who is currently living and working in Hanoi. I was very impressed by his work.
