***15 YEARS of SEX AND THE CITY***

***15 YEARS of SEX AND THE CITY***

As a BIG fan of Sex and the city, I can't not write about this 15th anniversary of the show since the 1st episode aired on HBO on June 6th, 1998. SATC has been a big influence for me in so many ways, especially in Fashion which is a huge part of the show to the movies. Carrie Bradshaw (aka Sarah Jessica Parker) became a fashion icon with her own crazy way of mixing things but still fabulous and trendy. New York stylist Patricia Field has done a great job (she also worked "her magic" in Confession of a shopaholic, Ugly Betty, The Devil wears Prada's)

Every girls (and boys) dream about Carrie's closet and till this day, people still quote her all the time like "I want my money where I can see it, hanging in my closet" or When I first moved to New York I bought Vogue instead of dinner. I just felt it feed me more" or "Shopping is my cardio"... I am that person who also buy Vogue instead of dinner (or lunch and breakfast); and If Carries spent 40.000 USD on shoes, I don't want to count how much I spent on purses. I do SATC marathon like 3 or 4 times a year, it's just never "out of style", I love the show, the movies and my favorite thing to do is sipping cosmo and talking about fashion from the show with my friends while watching it. I wish they did a 3rd movie soon.

Here is some of my favorite looks from Carrie's and the girls, aside from so many fashion items which Carrie wore in the show and became such a trend (like the Carrie's necklace; the stolen Jimmy Choo; The Dolce & Gabbana fur heels; The studded Rachel Leigh studded belt; The Manolo Balhnik which Big propose her with...)

Which one is yours?

Cheers, lovers... with Cosmopolitan of course :)!!!
