BACKSTAGE AT EMANUEL UNGARO
My model's looks
I was so happy and lucky to work backstage for Emanuel Ungaro at Paris Fashion Week. So far, this is one of the best show and one of the most professional team I've worked with. My job was simple_dressing model. I have 1 model with 2 looks so had to be very fast.
The show happened at the Paris Chamber of Commerce, created by Napoléon Bonaparte. It's so big and beautiful. The runway was long and it's funny all students got to rehearse on the runway while the models were getting their make-up done. We, the sorties were all like running on the runway trying to catch up with the music. But it seemed so easy to the models with their long legs. That the thing, I felt like a midget every time I stand next to a model.
House designer Fausto Puglisi did bring "a real life celebration" to the runway. The collection's colorful with polka dots, stripes, ruffles and pockets. Some says it's too much details and not enough lux but I personally, loved it. It's practical and it's Ready-to-wear anyway. However, don't you just love those sandals? I swear I just wanted to try them on the whole time I was backstage.
I also got to see Mr Andre Leon, Nina Garcia and met Anna Dello Russo, I was so happy!
Good experience, thanks to IFA for the opportunity!
